Choosing the right ENERGY STAR® Bulb
Which ENERGY STAR® bulb is right for you?
Compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs) are quickly becoming the standard for replacement in today’s green-conscious homes. Differing greatly from the institutional fluorescent tube lighting of year’s past, these new CFLs produce no sound, illuminate instantly through improved internal ballasts, and are available in an entire spectrum of color tones. By choosing the right CFL for your needs, you won’t notice a change in the ambiance of your home – but you’ll notice a big change in your electricity bill! To ensure the brightness, color, and tone of your lighting is not affected during replacement, please use the following guidelines to select the appropriate CFL for your lighting needs.
